Career options after 12th

Architecture is a career that beautifully blends art, science, and social responsibility. It calls for creativity, technical knowledge, and a strong understanding of cultural and environmental context. As architects, individuals have the opportunity to shape built environments, influence landscapes, and leave lasting, tangible contributions to cities and communities.

In India, pursuing a career in architecture primarily involves gaining admission to a B.Arch. (Bachelor of Architecture) program, usually through a national or state-level entrance exam. Here are some of the main entrance exams and the eligibility criteria:

1. NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture):

NATA is conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA) for admission to B.Arch. programs across India. It evaluates candidates’ aptitude and knowledge in the field of architecture.

2. JEE Main (Paper 2):

In addition to the National Aptitude Test in Architecture, the Paper 2 of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main for B.Arch. and B.Planning courses is another common entrance exam taken by students seeking admission into undergraduate architecture programs.

3. State or University Level Exams:

Many states and universities conduct their own entrance exams for admission to architecture programs, such as the Maharashtra Architecture Common Entrance Test (MAH-AR-CET), the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), and the Tamil Nadu Aptitude Test in Architecture (TANATA).

Eligibility Criteria for B.Arch. Program in India:

1. Education:
